NC-Specific Online Forensic Science Trainings

Online Forensic Science Trainings

Coursera is a database of free college-level courses that may be of interest to attorneys, including courses in biology, chemistry and neuroscience:

Below are links to free or low-cost online trainings that are offered by various organizations, including the National Institute of Justice, the National Clearinghouse for Science, Technology & the Law, RTI International, the Forensic Science Initiative, the Women's Information Network, and others. Some organizations require participants to register prior to taking the free course, but the registration process only takes a few minutes. The Forensic Science Initiative courses can be taken for free by public defenders. This database can be sorted by topic.
